We are in the days ahead of unknowns for what is to come for hundreds of charities, including the major charities that have depended on taxpayer funding. Many specific targeted groups will now have no where to turn, unless you and I step up.
The Highway 62 Jubilee MISSION is to give Hope for Isolated Seniors by meeting their physical and spiritual needs. We also bring awareness to the public about Elder Abuse.
We are growing! Serving more abandoned lonely seniors! Now serving Breckinridge and Hancock Counties in Kentucky, along with Perry and Crawford Counties in Indiana. We go where the Lord Leads us.
Since the second year of operation, we have distributed over 500 Birthday and Christmas Gifts. We have participated in bringing in donations to flood victims throughout Kentucky. We have been expanding our needs based mission, partnering with county aging agencies and nursing homes. Currently we are serving over 55 clients in multiple Kentucky and Indiana counties every month (as of May 1st 2026). We provide clothing, personal items, books, music, household items, birthday & Christmas gifts and mailing cards of encouragement.
Adults 65 and older make up 12% of the population, they account for 18% of suicides. Some of the risk factors include loneliness, which is often attributed to loss of a spouse or partner and living far from family and friends. (Link)
