Approximately 76 million elderly (27 %), 60 and above live alone. We search for those who have no-one. Living alone. Feeling lost, and forgotten. Highway 62 Jubilee, a 501(c )(3 ) charity gives HOPE for Isolated Seniors. Changing lives, reaching out, bringing hope and encouragement for those who have been abandoned by family. Our Hope for Isolated Seniors program delivers Birthday/Christmas Gifts, clothing, music, personal items, household goods and regular Cards Of Cheer. (www.His62Angels.org)
At Highway 62 Jubilee Inc, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. We currently serve clients in Breckinridge County KY, Hancock County, KY, Perry County IN and Crawford County IN. At the time you receive this letter/email, we are reaching out to Daviess County KY and Jefferson County KY to spread hope and happiness for many more seniors. Our goal by the end of year is to be assistance for 100 clients.
What We Need. 1. Our annual fundraiser runs from May 1st to June 30th. A major part of this drive is our fundraising efforts at the Schwartz family annual Strawberry Festival and Gospel Singing on May 16th. As a Sponsor we can use financial contributions, items for door prizes, larger new items for raffles and silent auctions. Business donations over a certain amount have the opportunity to show off your business with a booth at the festival. 2. Monthly, one time or recurring, donations, financial and donated items for our clients.
How we use your donations. This campaign helps to fund the actual costs to provide hope and cheer for our senior clients. This allows us to use all auction, concession and donation dollars received during the Strawberry Festival to keep us giving and bringing change to senior citizens in counties in Kentucky and Indiana throughout the year.
