The Highway 62 Jubilee MISSION is to give Hope for Isolated Seniors by meeting their physical and spiritual needs. We also bring awareness to the public about Elder Abuse. If you believe in helping abandoned and lonely seniors in your community, consider helping us with expenses. It takes about $5,139.84 to be of service to 100 seniors every year (plus administration and overhead). We find these seniors through county senior centers, meals on wheels programs, nursing homes and senior living apartments.

Having a thrift store can be a good way to bring in income for expenses. Many people donate items to thrift stores knowing their donations will be priced and go on the shelves for sale. That is one way a lot more people can feel they are helping their communities. We do not have a storefront. However, at the moment we DO use eBay and FaceBook Marketplace as our “Thrift Store”. We also re-purpose many items to be used as gifts for our clients.
YES, we CAN take your donations. It is simply a matter of meeting with you and arranging a pickup or dropoff time. Here are some basics of what we can or cannot take:
** First rule: We don’t fix or repair anything. If it is broken, dirty beyond a normal cleaning, does not operate as it should, please, has cracks or chips, just do all thrift stores a favor. Throw it out.
** Clothes. Please wash before donating. Use a non-fragranced dtergent. And NO dryer sheets!
** No mattresses or large furniture.
** We’ll go to your estate sale or yard sale if you wish.
